Yes. CCM Finance now reports to Experian and Equifax every thirty days. Our agreement with Equifax ensures all payment activity is reported. We report on time payments, late payments over 30 days and all information related to the closing of an account (due to repossession, payoff, etc.)

In order to qualify for refinancing with CCM Finance, you must meet the below requirements:

-You must be current on your existing loan.
-You must be in your current vehicle for more than 24 months.
-Your vehicle must be clean and in good running condition.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED

Proof of Employment and Income
CCM Finance needs proof of income information before you can be approved for a new loan or refinance.

There are different requirements for salaried, freelance, and self-employed individuals, and each may require a different proof of income.

- Hourly/Salaried Employees: CCM Finance will require pay stubs for the last two pay periods before allowing you to refinance your car loan. If you apply at the beginning of a year, we may also request a W-2 from the previous year.

- Freelancers/Contract Employees: CCM Finance will require your most recent tax returns or most recent 3 months of bank statements.

- Self-Employed: CCM Finance will require tax returns from the last two years or most recent 3 months bank statements.

*If you need a copy of your W-2, you can always request one from your employer. Additionally, tax returns can be requested online by visiting the IRS’s website. Lastly, as a final tip, we recommend notifying CCM Finance of any additional jobs or sources of income you have. This knowledge can be beneficial for us to know and may make a difference in your application.

Proof of Residence

CCM Finance will request proof of residence when there is a discrepancy in your credit report or the address on your driver’s license doesn’t match.

Below are some simple documents you can use to prove your address to a lender.

-Utility Bills (Gas, Electric, Water, etc.)

-Bank Statement

-Mortgage Statement or Lease Agreement

-Property Tax Bill

-Homeowners or Renters Insurance Policy

Proof of Insurance

With proof of insurance, our customer’s have two options:

Full Coverage Insurance: to refinance your car loan, you’ll undoubtedly need to provide proof of your car’s full coverage insurance policy. You may provide proof of your policy with your insurance ID card. Alternatively, you may use a declarations page from your insurance company.

CPI Insurance (Collateral Protection Insurance): if you do not have full coverage insurance, we offer CPI in-house, and it covers only the financed or refinanced vehicle. If you choose to get CPI from us, you must still purchase “liability insurance” to be street legal.

When you face a major mechanical breakdown with your CCM Financed vehicle, CCM Finance may help you finance the cost of your vehicle repair. You must meet the below requirements to apply for finance:

You must choose to get your vehicle serviced/fixed at one of our preferred mechanic shops in our network

You must be current on your loan payments.

If you have signed up for Collateral Protection Insurance with CCM Finance and need to submit an accident related claim, please click here and fill out our online form with your incident information. The estimated processing time will be 10-14 business days. The more information you provide on the CPI Claim form, the faster service you will get.

If your vehicle has been repossessed, please be sure to call CCM Finance at (800) 619-3986 option 4, to discuss reinstatement eligibility and to schedule an appointment to pick up any personal belongings. Please have the keys to the vehicle to retrieve personal belongings.

Your vehicle will be stored at one of our impound locations for 72 hours. After this time, the vehicle may be transported to another impound location, including a location outside of the city, State the vehicle was repossessed.

*Reinstatement/Retrieval of personal property is subject to fees.

Keeping your account details current is essential, as we may need to reach you by phone, mail, or email with important updates about your CCM Finance auto loan account or vehicle. If your physical address, phone number, or email has changed, please call us at (800) 619-3986.

In the event of a name change, we will need you to please email us copies of your legal documents (such as marriage certification, divorce decree, etc.) at customerservice@ccmfinance.com. This includes for the primary accountholder, co-signer, co-buyer, or co-borrower. Be sure to include your vehicle’s VIN and the name currently on the account with your emailed documents.

We understand that you may need a spouse, child, parent, or another individual to communicate with us about your account. Please see the section below, “How can I request a copy of essential documents?” for instructions on requesting a third-party authorization form. If we have any questions about the person you’ve authorized to discuss your account or need additional information, we may reach out to you directly regarding your request.
